The seven vineyards of Passarella were born from an unusual but ancient combination of factors. On the one hand, the irreverence of humans. On the other, the slow laws of nature and passage of time – the "magnificent seven" could very well be the "seven survivors , as pure fruits of natural selection. Located in Lagarinhos, in the sub-region of Serra da Estrela, at an altitude of 600 to 800m the Casa da Passarella was founded in 1892, even before the demarcation of the Dão region (1908). With its name back in the mouths of the world, it will never be known if it was the climate, if it was the land. If it was the talent of the people who passed through here and their passionate stories and personalities.
